In Outlook, click Calendar in the bottom left corner of the screen. From the Home tab, at the top left of the screen, click New Meeting and select New Meeting from the drop-down list. A new window appears.

When they click the icon to create a meeting they get the circling of the cursor and then eventually the message 'Create Skype Meeting failed. Please make sure that Skype for Business is running and signed-in and try again.' The client is signed-in, presence can be seen with Outlook. It works perfectly fine for two users. The users who it works for, it works anywhere. They can log onto another workstation and it works. We tried having non-working users log onto the PC of a working user and it fails.
There are no roaming profiles in play. Yes, all needed add-ins are available. No error messages anywhere.
I have reviewed from the client side, SFB server side, Exchange server side and user side. Placed a test user in an OU with no GPO inheritance and still doesn't work, so it is not a GPO. The customer had already tried all the suggested fixes about add-ins, registry, updates, etc. Has anyone experienced this and found a fix. Keep in mind the circling happens as soon as a users clicks the Create Skype for Meeting button and do not even get a chance to input anything into the fields for the meeting.
Hi Frostman, Can you try to delete the Skype for Business cache?. Log out of Lync. Delete any sign-in info ( only in Skype For Business 2013). Exit Lync. Navigate to Users username AppData Local Microsoft Office 16.0 or 15.0 Lync. Delete sipprofileName folder.
Delete all files in Tracing folder. Do not delete the folder itself. Clear DNS cache: in Command Prompt run ipconfig /flushdns command. Hi Frostman, To create a Skype meeting from Outlook, the SIP and SMTP address of your account should be the same. If you don’t use an Outlook program (or Windows), you can set up new meetings using Skype for Business Web Scheduler,if you did not deploy Skype for Business Web Scheduler, you could refer to the following link. Check the status of MAPI information in the SFB configuration. You could try to to uninstall Microsoft Office, and re-install the full 2016 version.there is a similar link, you could refer to it.
